Leadership California Account Exec

AMPED is searching for an individual to serve as the Executive Director for one of our newest client organizations —Leadership California. Leadership California is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1988 to increase the representation and influence of diverse women leaders across the state and inspire them to act on their knowledge of issues and cutting-edge trends facing California, the nation and the world. The Leadership California operating budget is approximately $600,000.

This position will be an independent contractor or employee of AMPED Association Management and report to Lynda J. Patterson FASAE, CAE, AMPED President and Owner. As an Account Executive within AMPED, this position will serve as the Executive Director of Leadership California and take direction from the Leadership California Board. They will serve as the leader and facilitator of all Leadership California program sessions and will be a content expert on women’s leadership issues.

The Leadership California Executive Director will be key in building relationships to generate revenue for the organization through sponsorships and donations. A minimum of three years senior leadership in a nonprofit organization along with a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) or Certified Association Executive (CAE) is preferred.
