AMPED Association Management is a full-service association management firm, handling all aspects of associations with innovation, transparency and fun! We are the headquarters for state, national and global trade and professional associations located in a very attractive historic office space on the Capitol Square in Madison, WI with a second location in Old Town Alexandria, VA. With new clients in the pipeline and continued growth in the Washington, DC Metro area, we want to find candidates with backgrounds in the following areas to be ready to add to our team when needed:



Executive Assistant to President/Owner
Proactively support the President/Owner of AMPED in all business and client work, essentially acting as the “brand manager” of Lynda Patterson and AMPED, extending the culture, professionalism and welcoming environment of our company. While job duties are different every day, the goal is to ensure that people’s experience with AMPED continues to feel high touch and personalized from Lynda and the leadership team. Communications/PR Manager
You will be a member of the fast-paced AMPED marketing/communications team and support the operations of four association clients. Our work is challenging and rewarding. And we promise an encouraging, supportive and creative environment. Projects and roles will include executing the content, design and distribution of enewsletters and eblasts, as directed and as part of marketing plans; writing content and posting to social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to expand social reach/exposure; updating and managing client websites on a variety of platforms; managing online communities; collaborating with AMPED designers to produce branding, membership collateral and meeting materials; developing and executing marketing plans for meetings and initiatives; implementing strategic communications plans in conjunction with volunteer committees; managing PR and media for national meetings, including a large city-wide meeting in Washington DC in September 2020; and responding to and working with volunteer leaders and association members. General Association Management
We are seeking independent workers who are extremely efficient and organized that can proactively support the growing needs of AMPED and its clients. Ideal candidates should be adaptive, flexible, proactive and attentive to detail. General association management includes answering phone calls, fielding questions via email, processing membership applications, basic web and social medical updates; membership management; governance; and small-scale meeting planning including logistics for Board of Directors and volunteer committee meetings.

Communications and Design
Visual communicators and wordsmiths who can create a high level of awareness and promote the value of membership in the associations we manage would be welcomed additions to our team. Our communications and design teams work closely with other team members to communicate messages visually via social media, web, advertising, and branding design. This job is more than just knowing how to use the tools. We want someone with creative chutzpah who isn’t afraid to learn new technology or present innovative approaches to the same old, same old. Projects may include the design, layout, writing and management of e-newsletters, printed magazines, trade show booths, signage, slides, website pages, proposals, social media posts, flyers, branded collateral and Eblasts. In order to be successful on this team, the ideal candidate must possess excellent verbal, writing and editing skills. Knowledge of social media platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, and basic Microsoft Office programs is required.

Membership management at AMPED includes day-to-day operations (answering phone calls, fielding questions via email, processing membership applications), drafting and sending membership related e-blasts to members and prospective member, basic web/social media updates, management of membership renewal campaign and processes, and additional project-based tasks as needed. The membership team also collects and monitors key performance indicators for memberships to track growth goals. This is another area were independent workers who are extremely efficient with their time and able to handle tasks quickly and with great care would be welcomed.
