Alma mater: BA and MA, Alverno College
Family: Married 33 years to Tom, son Nathan and daughter Liz, grandsons Kodiak (3) and Johnny (1), dachshund Monkey (13), cat Ginger (3), and 3 budgies (aka parakeets) Opie, Rigel, and Zeb (but not in a peart tree).
What I do in my off-hours: Create (needlepoint, sewing, stained glass, etc) and standing around the neighborhood as Monkey sniffs (hounds don't really walk).
I’m known in the office for... advice. I seem to attract anyone who wants an opinion.
My superpower: Being able to talk to anyone.
Favorite client experience: Onsite "field trips" with boards. I enjoy learning about the location and about the members away from the conference table.
Professional accomplishment I’m most proud of: I am very honored to have been a mentor to five colleagues.
Favorite thing about working at AMPED: I really love everyone I work with, and I know how blessed I am to be able to say that.
Leadership contributions: Public Board Member of the Vascular Access Certification Corporation.
Where I volunteer: Horse/barn care at Urban Stables.
Special recognition: During the business meeting, the board gave me "Grace Under Pressure" certificate for a successful annual meeting despite being ground zero for the Times Square bomb attempt (2010).
Favorite thing about working at AMPED: I like meeting everyone and the closeness of the team.
