Brydges is New ED of Women in Government Relations
AMPED Association Management is pleased to announce that Jen Brydges, CAE has taken on a new role as Executive Director of Women in Government Relations (WGR).
Brydges has eight years’ experience as an association executive and leads several AMPED association clients. She is the Managing Director of the Americas Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis, Executive Director of the Society for Research on Adolescence, and the Executive Director of Leadership California.
“Having spent six years working in the Wisconsin State Senate, I know how important government relations are, and how important it is to provide women an opportunity to network, share their unique experiences, and further their personal and professional development,” said Brydges. “I’m thrilled to bring a unique perspective along with tools for the WGR Board to enhance their strategic leadership of the organization.”
WGR is the premier, non-partisan professional society for those who have responsibilities and interests in the field of government relations and/or public affairs. With more than 1,200 members at every career level of government relations, WGR’s membership represents a wide array of private, non-profit and public sector organizations.
