Wisconsin Economic Development Association Partners with AMPED Association Management
The Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) is excited to announce a new partnership with AMPED Association Management, a firm known for delivering strategic and innovative support to growing associations. As of August 10, AMPED is providing full-service management to WEDA, supporting the organization’s continued growth and impact across Wisconsin.
Founded in 1975, WEDA is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding Wisconsin’s economy. Its more than 450 public- and private-sector members advance economic development through professional development, networking, advocacy, and statewide collaboration.
As WEDA transitions to AMPED, Melissa Hunt will continue to serve as President & CEO, providing leadership continuity and bringing deep knowledge of WEDA and Wisconsin’s economic development community.
“WEDA has a proud history of bringing together the people and ideas that move Wisconsin’s economy forward,” said Rebecca Deschane, Chair of the WEDA Board of Directors. “Our partnership with AMPED gives us additional expertise and capacity to strengthen member value and expand WEDA’s impact throughout the state.”
