AMPED Association Management is pleased to announce that Kris Ackley has taken on new roles as Executive Director of both the Fantasy Sports and Gaming Association (FSGA) and Women in Trucking Foundation (WITF).
Ackley has 25 years’ experience in non-profit management, specifically in fundraising, event management, membership, and volunteer engagement. In addition to her roles with FSGA and WITF, she is also the Associate Director for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC).
“I’m excited to take on these new opportunities,” said Ackley. “I’ve always been passionate about sports and I’m excited to use my degree in Sports Management to help lead FSGA forward. And I’m proud to use my leadership experience to help support women advance their careers in the trucking industry.”
“There are immense growth opportunities for both of these organizations,” she continues. “I look forward to working with their Boards to accomplish the goals set forth in their strategic plans and lead the staff teams to achieve them.”
The Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association is the only national organization representing the interests of fantasy sports and gaming companies. It is the voice for 60 million fantasy sports players in the United States and Canada, and for the companies that provide services, news, information and competition to support this growing industry. Members are sports and gaming enthusiasts, with companies that range from small startups to large media corporations. Their mission is to provide members with essential research and data, networking opportunities, and collective action to help them reach their potential.
The Women in Trucking Foundation provides scholarships to ensure that women in the trucking industry have the support they need to grow their skills and themselves. Ackley oversees operations of the organization and works directly with the Board of Directors and corporate sponsors working to grow the organization’s reach.
